Our Financial Policies and Guidelines

At Root Dental, we feel that quality dental care is essential to good health, so we make it easy for you to pay for our services. If you have dental insurance, we will file your dental insurance papers for you. In fact, Sandy, our insurance specialist, will provide you with a complete breakdown of all your benefits when you come in as a new patient, so you’ll know what is covered before you get started.

We also take an assignment of benefits, which means that we will estimate your fee based on what your insurance company will cover. You only need to pay your estimated portion, which you can do with any major credit card, cash, or check. We will deal directly with the insurance company for the balance. This makes the financial aspect of your dental care at Root Dental simple and easy! If there is a discrepancy with our benefit estimate, we’ll settle your account once we have received the check.

If the cost of care strains your budget, we have a no-interest payment plan through an arrangement with Care Credit, a consumer healthcare financing company.  To learn more about care credit or apply, please click here.

Finally, we are in-network with a number of insurance companies, including Delta, Aetna, Guardian, Cigna, Ameritas, Florida Combined Life, Connection General, GEHA and MetLife. We participate in their Preferred Provider programs, which reduces your costs. We do not participate with any DMO or HMO organization at this time.
